Community Building

  • Oktoberfest: On September 27, 2014 we hosted our very first Oktoberfest to benefit The Foundation and The Campaign for 21st Century Learning. The fall celebration—complete with silent and traditional auction and a performance by the Dads’ Night Band—was quintessential Ridgewood! Hundreds of Ridgewood residents and parents came out, socialized, and helped support The Foundation.
  • Super Science Saturday: For the sixth time The Foundation was a primary sponsor of this 27-year old Ridgewood tradition. This year’s event featured more than 100 science, biology, chemistry and physics students and their innovative, entertaining projects.
  • Reel Voices Film Festival: The Twelfth Annual Reel Voices Film Festival was, once again, an exciting showcase of award-winning documentaries and narrative films. The Foundation has been co-sponsoring the film series with the Friends of Ridgewood Library since the beginning. It’s always a big draw for the Village and a great and enriching community event.
  • RHS College Speaker Series: Once again this year The Foundation co-sponsored guest speakers at RHS to help parents and students navigate the college entrance process and college experience.
